Usually when I write, it is for some end goal. I write poetry to be published. I write web content for money. This blog, however, is inspired purely for fun.
Pinning down the exact moment that I made up my mind to take a flight lesson is impossible. The open Oklahoma skies were constantly buzzing with airplanes, particularly near my first apartment as it was only a mile or so from Wiley Post (PWA), a fairly busy airport. I have always held a deep fondness for airplanes since the first day my dad took me to Lunken Airport in Cincinnati to watch them come and go. Years later, I think my curiosity finally got the best of me.
This blog will mostly contain odds and ends about my experiences in learning to fly, as well as other items of interest for any pilot. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I will enjoy writing it!
